Not a place I'd recommend for either the food or the ambience. There are plenty of other restaurants offering much better-tasting food and a far better atmosphere at the same, or even lower, price point. The marketing creates high expectations, but the actual experience was disappointing. The service, taste, and ambience all fell far short of what was promised. Overall: 1/10. Misal : 0/10 Pav bhaji: 2/10 Onion Bhajji: no onion , super oily

Absolutely loved the Vada Pav and Chikoo Shake—both were fresh, delicious, and full of authentic Maharashtrian flavour! If you’re a Punekar or anyone missing the taste of Pune’s street food and home-style Maharashtrian meals, this is definitely the place to visit. They have a great variety of authentic dishes like Misal, Bhel, Pithla Bhakri with Thecha, Amrakhand Puri, and many more. They also offer convenient takeaway options, making it easy to enjoy your favourite Maharashtrian food at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving genuine Maharashtrian cuisine. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu!

Swad Junction Blacktown – Authentic Maharashtrian taste! Best Vada Pav in Sydney; soft pav, perfect chutney with crispy chillies is so authentic. 100% you won’t be disappointed! Jhunka bhakri is authentic, super fresh with thecha and spicy onion mix on side is amazing. Vada usal too is super flavourful with balanced taste. Affordable, clean, quick service with awesome host. It was a lovely to chat with them. There is ample parking available. My go-to place for Maharashtrian cravings. Highly recommended!

We recently visited this small, warm and welcoming place called Swad Junction, which specialises in authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, and it was such a beautiful experience. The food truly felt homemade and full of flavour. We had pithala bhakri, amrakhand puri, and puran poli served with hot milk. The puran poli was truly authentic and brought back that real traditional taste which is so hard to find these days. A special mention to the owner, Suchitra Kulkarni, for creating such a genuine and homely place, and to Advet, who served us with great warmth and care. What stood out the most was not just the food, but the people behind it. Genuine, hardworking, and passionate about what they do. Swad Junction is definitely a hidden gem for anyone who loves real Maharashtrian food. Highly recommended. We will surely be back again.

Absolutely loved the authentic Maharashtrian food here! The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was quick and efficient. The vada pav was delicious, but the puran poli truly stole the show....fresh, flavorful, and absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!
