I really enjoyed my staying. 4 bed, shared dorm. I had perfect company. Breakfast was toast, with an abundance of toppings, and cereal, perfect to keep you going if you are job hunting or sightseeing. Lovely place - we had free wine and cheese nights, pizza and movies with popcorn and karaoke. Very welcoming and so clise to the aurport train metro stop. The harbour is less than 2k walk away too!

Bathrooms and toilets are kept in immaculate condition - dorm rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a dorm room (in a positive way). Same goes for the common areas and kitchen - clean and very well maintained. Staff were super friendly and helpful when needed, and location is awesome! Walking distance to so many places, including the Opera house (might be too far for some people but I enjoyed it). The ONLY thing I can fault, is the pillows. But then again, it was the most affordable dorm room, and it is a hostel. Overall, highly recommend - will likely go back at some point on my travels.

I had a comfortable stay and the staff at the reception were very nice. The free breakfast was basic but sufficient and helped me save time in the mornings. The hostel also has a cafe which serves good food. The showers and toilets were never busy when I used them. The shared toilets, however, were not very clean, especially those on the 2nd floor and my room had a damp, musty smell which was unpleasant. The single pillow was flat and didn't provide any support and it would also be great to have a chair in the room to sit on. I would stay again if it is just for a night or two.

Great hostel in a fab location β€” about a 20 minute walk to the Opera House and only 10 minutes to St James station. I was really impressed with how clean everything was, especially the bathrooms, and the cleaners came in to hoover and empty the bin in the rooms daily. The bathrooms were lovely and I never had to wait to use the facilities. The end showers had a handy little ledge for belongings as well as hooks which made things much easier. I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm which was spacious and had good storage lockers for security. The privacy curtain worked well although I think it could have been slightly more private. There were loads of plug sockets which was super useful and I liked that each bed had its own light. I also really liked having the key card on my phone β€” it felt very secure. The shared spaces were always clean and tidy. The hostel had a really sociable atmosphere with lots of daily events, and Goki made it very easy to organise and join these. The included breakfast was also really good with plenty of options. The kitchen could get busy at times, but everyone was respectful and I never had to wait too long to use anything. The WiFi was generally good, altho

My stay at Pacific Hostel in Sydney was outstanding from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the hostel is absolutely beautiful, excellent for solo travelers or anyone looking to connect with other travelers. The staff was extremely hospitable felt welcomed immediately, The young lady who helped started working 2 weeks ago, she provided awesome, service, very profession, and knowledgeable. She provided me with a room in a dorm with the most incredible view. Thanks again for the room. The Location was perfect walking distance to major sites and public transportation. The bed were very comfortable and the dorm room was spacious. The hostel was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen staff are awesome with keeping the kitchen clean. Breakfast is simple however appreciated. I have already recommended Pacific Hostel to other travelers. Shout out to Cedric your warm smile and pleasant attitude and chats made my stay more memorable. Wishing you nothing but the best and don't forget to be fashion.

Absolutely brilliant! Staff Very helpful and always cheerful! Very clean bedroom, all communal areas clean and tidy. Given our own insulated bag to store fridge items in. Kitchen had every utensil you needed, as well as " help yourself" food in the fridge. Perfect location - walking distance to bus stops and train station. Free events every evening, including cheese and wine, quizzes. Would definitely recommend to stay near Sydney.
