Tranquil, greenery and birds chirping. Parramatta Park in midwinter. The first narcissus and golden mimosa are beginning to bloom, quietly reminding us that spring is on its way. Nature always knows when it's time for a new beginning.

Such a beautiful park to visit, felt very private even though so many happy people on the weekend, bbq’s, great for picnics, people having fun with their families, even saw gender reveals, history and magnificent scenery. I enjoyed every part of parramatta park.

If you want to escape from the busy side of Parramatta, this is the perfect spot. It’s just a few minutes away, but it feels like a different world once you’re into nature. I find it so therapeutic to walk the trails and listen to the birds after a long day. Been around the area few times, and this remains one of my favorite escapes to clear my head and enjoy some fresh air. A beautiful, peaceful gem right on the edge of the CBD!

Beautiful and spacious green area in the geographical heart of Sydney! Many opportunities to have a picnic, join a concert, see hot air balloons on Australia Day, cycle, sightsee the birdlife and waterfowl or just stroll through this vast landscape. Highly recommended for next visit. Accessible from public transport (including bus, heavy rail, light rail or ferry). Also possible to walk through from adjoining parkland in Westmead 🌲

✨ My Review of Parramatta Park ✨ Visited Parramatta Park last Sunday and absolutely loved the experience! 🌿 It’s such a huge and vibrant park with a bit of everything—historic landmarks, wide open green spaces, peaceful river views, and even a massive bat colony (which was an unexpected surprise 🦇). Walking around felt refreshing and relaxing, and it’s the kind of place where you can easily spend hours without realizing it. I really liked how well the park is designed—separate tracks for walkers, cyclists, and cars, plenty of shaded areas, and loads of space so it never feels too crowded. Perfect spot for a picnic, casual stroll, photography, or just to clear your mind. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, Parramatta Park is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be going back again soon, this time with more snacks and maybe a longer walk along the river. Highly recommended! 🌳✨
