such a peaceful and beautiful spot to relax and take a walk. The views along the river are really nice, especially in the evening, and the area feels clean and well maintained. A great place to unwind, clear your mind, or just enjoy a quiet walk by the water also small picnic β

Wonderful place for walk, jog, run and cycling. Beautiful scenery and pleasant weather to spend quality time with family, friends and even for exercising. Just walk to Paramatta Quay and get onto a boat / cruise to go to Circular Quay to see Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge

The Parramatta River Walk is a beautiful and scenic trail, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities like walking, jogging, running, or cycling. The path winds along the river, offering a peaceful escape from the city's hustle. Along the way, you might spot some wildlife, including domestic ducks, waterbirds like the Eurasian Coots, goose, and even the occasional lizard basking in the sun. On our walk, we spotted Common Mynas, Noisy Miners, Laughing Kookaburras, Eurasian Coots, Maned Ducks (Australian Wood Duck) and Australian Ibises among others. Some visitors are doing leisure fishing there as well. The view of the river, especially near the bridge, is particularly romantic, with the Commbank Colosseum in the background adding a modern touch to the natural scenery. Itβs a great spot for a quiet stroll or a sunset walk with a loved one. However, itβs worth noting that some areas are occupied by homeless people, which can be a bit unsettling for some visitors. Despite this, the walk remains a lovely and accessible place to enjoy nature in the heart of Parramatta.
