The sashimi was fresh and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the cooked dishes didn't have the same depth of flavour as what you'd get at the restaurant, so they were a little disappointing.

We got a selection of nigiri and some of their oysters (with caviar and roe). The oyster was very fresh, refreshing and the caviar and roe provided some saltiness and sweetness, perfect natural seasoning. The fried prawn nigiri was alright; had little bits of sweet mayo which was nice. Similarly the Unagi nigiri tasted as expected. We did think the Uni nigiri tasted a little fishy, however the texture was pretty creamy. The uni also left a slight bitter aftertaste. The lining up system for this store’s ready to eat section could do with some work - there was not a clear lining up area and importantly, not a clear direction of the line from front to back. Perhaps someone set it up incorrectly.

the lobster roll taste good although it's as what some review who say there's not alot of lobster. the lobster tail and king crab legs are good, just nice portion for tasting. we stayed away from most of the fried stuffs though.

Went to the Fish Market and really feels like having fish & chips. Peter's is one of the few vendors that offer assorted fried seafood. They have a lot on offer (e.g soft shell crab, calamari rings, salt pepper calamari, praawnn cutlets and more) and they all looked very fresh and delicious. We opted for the deep fried stuffs. However, whilst the seafood tasted very fresh and all, we do found the batter to be quite thick. Price wise is certainly not cheap, though very similar to the other vendors around.

I wouldn’t recommend the Seafood Pack at Peter’s Sydney Fish Market. The batter is ridiculously thick and doughy, completely overpowering the seafood. When you break it open, the fish portion is tinyβ€”mostly just batter with barely any actual fish inside. It feels really misleading compared to what you expect or what’s advertised. For the price, this is pretty disappointing. Definitely not worth itβ€”plenty of better options elsewhere at the market. Check the photos before deciding.
