I took my 15+ yr old iPod Touch to this shop because I wanted to recover and access the files stored on it. The repair itself resulted in the device working, but all of the original data was gone, which defeated the whole purpose of why I brought it in. My disappointment isn’t with the technical difficulty of repairing an old device. It’s that I don’t believe I was clearly informed beforehand that replacing the motherboard would result in losing access to the original data. I was then quoted an additional $300 to attempt a data transfer, with no guarantee it would work. I raised my concerns with the shop, but I felt they focused more on whether they had mentioned it over the phone than on addressing why I was disappointed. I hope they improve their communication in the future by clearly explaining the consequences of repairs that may permanently affect a customer’s data before carrying out the work. I’m sure there’ll be an explanation in response to this review. I just wish that same explanation had been given before the repair was carried out, when it actually would have helped me make an informed decision.

Sometimes getting the phone case in person is good as it's easier to compare. Quite cheap tbh ($15-20), and just at the bus interchange. Owner seems friendly enough so customer service seems okay.

I got my iPhone display and back side done from this place around one year ago. It is still working perfectly. I was amazed that it could last so long because it was very genuinely priced. The guy was very genuine with all the explanation and the product. Really recommended for any kind of repairing.
