Lucas Guo has been an incredible tutor for my Year 7 child. He explained positive and negative numbers in a very clear and patient way, which really helped my child understand a topic they were struggling with. Lucas is calm, encouraging, and makes learning feel easy and less stressful. We’ve seen a big improvement in confidence and understanding since his sessions. Highly recommend him as a tutor.

Proficiency Education has the makings of a great tutoring centre, but it falls short due to their front desk. It’s manned always by very young people and they are so unprofessional! Eg their bubble teas on the table, multiple tutors or people who work there use the front desk as a hang out place and always chatting, doing their marking at the front desk while hanging out together. It also smells awful!! It’s probably from all the food- open a window!! And use an air purifier! It’s so unprofessional and it leaves an awful impression when you’re a parent hoping they would model good teaching. I don’t even know who is their manager - just looks like a bunch of underage workers. I really hope ProEd read this and tighten up their front desk attire and professionalism.

I couldn’t be more impressed with this place. The tutors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. They tailor their teaching methods to suit individual learning styles, which made all the difference. Since starting here, I’ve seen major improvements in both grades and confidence. The environment is friendly and supportive, making it easy to ask questions and stay motivated. I highly recommend this tutoring centre to anyone looking for real academic growth.

I did Maths Extension 2 tutoring here, the tutors were great and the content was well taught. In particular the admin on Saturday and Sunday is super helpful. I definitely could see an improvement in my academic capabilities. I would definitely send my kids and grandkids here for tutoring.
