QVB (Queen Victoria Building) Light Rail station is the fourth stop on the L2/L3 City & Southeast Line. As the name implies, it is located on George Street near to the entrance of QVB.

QVB Light Rail Station is one of the easiest spots in the CBD to hop on a tram without breaking stride. Set along George Street beside the Queen Victoria Building, the stop sits right in the middle of great shopping and quick food options, and it feels safe and lively from morning through the evening commute. Platforms are wide enough to handle the peak crowds, the shelters are clean, and real-time screens give clear countdowns so you know whether to linger or sprint. Level boarding makes life simple for prams and wheelchairs, and the Opal readers are placed sensibly at each entrance so you can tap without clogging the flow. Services are frequent in both directions, with trams running up to Circular Quay one way and out toward the south-eastern suburbs the other. Even when a car pulls in busy, another usually follows not long after, so you rarely feel stuck. Announcements are audible over the street noise, doors open fast, and the multi-door layout keeps boarding civilised. If you are changing to heavy rail, Town Hall Station is an easy walk via the QVB underground arcade, which is handy in bad weather. The surrounding area works in the stop’s favour. The light rail stops at the George Street entrance of the QVB towards the corner of Market Street. Perfect stop for WVB, Mecca and Myer. Westfield and David Jones are a couple of minutes walk up Market Street as is the Pitt Street Mall. Services by the L2 and L3 lines to Circular Quay. The light rail is such a great way to get into the city.

Always a fantastic shopping experience 😀 this light rail 🚊 station 🚉 is across the road from the QVB and 1 minute Sydney town hall 😀 on the other side it's across from Myers and 1 minute from Pitt St Mall and is 3 minutes walk away from Hyde Park and 4 minutes walk away from Darling Harbour!!!
