A magical way to spend a day. We loved the herb garden, the palm grove the collection of Dracaena dracos planted as a corps de ballet! The quaint shop was lovely ( needs more books). The walk to lady Macquarie's chair and the views from there of Opera House and bridge are outstanding

The Royal Botanic Garden is a beautiful place to wander and unwind. It's well maintained, full of stunning gardens and huge trees, with amazing views across the harbour to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. A peaceful escape right in the heart of Sydney and well worth a visit.

A tranquil & peaceful place with lovely scenery. It is a great place to be and spent your time while visiting Sydney. If time permits, do walk to Mrs Macquarie Point in the Botanic Garden. Over that, you have a wonderful view of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney’s Opera House. It is quite a big park and hence the visitors need to walk at 30min or more in order to cover the whole Botanic Garden.

Beautiful gardens. Everything here is clean and well maintained. I love that it is free to just walk in and enjoy. There are lots of seating areas, walkways, and great spots to take pictures. I really enjoyed the areas set to supply food for the birds. I found the variety of flowers, trees, and other plants to be very impressive. There was so much area here someone could almost get lost walking around. I highly recommend taking a walk through here if you have time.
