Salvos Funerals was a comforting experience in an otherwise horrible time while managing grief and organising a service that you feel is worthy of your loved one. From the moment I started calling some funerals planning services, the friendliest but most informative was Salvos. Sarah spoke to me on the day of my father’s passing and it was an easy choice to choose Salvos. I then was assigned Wafaa as my funeral planner who again was comforting and informative, from day 1 to the day of the service. I hope not to use Salvos again soon but I can’t recommend them enough.

I had arranged Direct Cremation for my Mum. Megan Maxfield was very supportive and responsive. The service was excellent. Everything went smoothly. I would highly recommended Salvos Funerals.

Salvos Funeral attended to my Fathers funeral in November 2023. Very professional, empathetic and respectful. They made the process very easy from the beginning and respected our Samoan traditions. Affordable and simple. Thank you Melissa and Marc. Giving back to a place that were present in my Dads life when he first migrated to Australia in 1994 just made sense. God bless.

I highly recommend Salvos Funerals. We had Russell as our funeral director, he mad a highly emotional situation go really smoothly. Thankyou Russell for helping me and my family organise the funeral of my mother. Guest at that the funeral said it was one of the most beautiful funerals they have ever attended. I can’t recommend Russell, he’s colleagues and Salvation Army funerals enough.

We were recommended the Salvation Army for the funeral service of our mother by a close friend. Marc Allison was so helpful from my first inquiry. Being someone who had no experience at all in arranging a funeral and feeling quite lost with how to proceed, Marc’s sensitive and thoughtful guidance through each step helped us arrange a service we were very happy with and a fitting tribute for our dear Mother. The casket and flowers were lovely too, and they helped arrange a videographer to record the service for overseas relatives. Thanks very much to Marc and the Salvos Funerals.

Salvos Funerals have been there for us twice at very difficult times when we have lost loved ones and needed guidance and support to arrange and conduct funerals that are not only respectful and befitting of the loved ones we paid tribute to but reasonably priced compared to many other funeral services. Their staff and associates were patient and understanding and couldn’t be more helpful in arranging beautiful, personal funerals and taking care of the administrative processes without overwhelming grieving family and friends with worry and unnecessary distractions. I would highly recommend Salvos Funerals to anyone needing the kind of services they provide.

I lost my partner in November 2019, and recently lost my mum in June 2020. Both times I looked to the Salvation Army for guidance and advice. Phillip Stonely and his team were very compassionate and helpful in every aspect. They were never pushy and allowed us to have the service our loved ones deserved the way we wanted it. They were very professional, promped and kind without costing the earth. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Salvation Army for anyone needing a funeral service carried out. Regards Vicki

Salvo's funerals assisted in the funeral of my Uncle David, where I was leading and preaching. They were professional and thoughtful throughout. I particularly want to make mention of Marc Allison who, as the representative of Salvos funerals, did an exception job. He showed great kindness and compassion to the bereaved and paid close attention to detail.
