I went there today to renew my licence. The staff were so friendly as soon as I walked in. I didn't wait long and the lady that served me was so lovely and professional. Thank you 😊

Nice and reliable staff. I went there last week and one of staff which I wish asked her name guide and helped me patiently with great attitude. Highly recommended

Coming from the UK and being newly resident Australia, I was impressed by the methodical process by which matters were addressed in the Service centre. Of course there are plenty of forms to fill, and repetitive steps, however to continually make progress to having my query resolved was great. Staff were also very friendly and willing to help to the extent processes and guardrails allowed them to. A welcome change to what I’ve faced in the past in the UK.

This is a formal complaint against Service NSW at Liverpool. I visited Service NSW at Liverpool between 10:00–11:00am on 21/01/2026 regarding my Working With Children Check (WWCC). I brought all the required documents as stated in the email instructions, including my Medicare card, visa, and proof of aged care. However, when I approached the counter, the staff member informed me that the proof of aged care could not be used as a primary identification document and that I needed to provide my passport because it was my first time visiting Service NSW. At the time, I did not question this requirement, as I had a flight scheduled to return to Tasmania later that day. As a result, I had to arrange another flight back to NSW specifically to complete my WWCC application, which cost me more than $500 in airfare. I then visited Service NSW at Newtown. The staff member there was very professional and helpful. He did not request my passport at any stage during the process. Before leaving, I specifically double-checked with him whether my passport was required, and he clearly confirmed that it was not. I did my driving test today in this centre at liverpool. I was so nervous at first as i got into the car. He told me to turn left in the second traffic lights and i was so slow to understand, he remained calm with me and he told me to calm down and take it easy. He was so patient and kind with me, im so thankful to him for that. He told me to do reverse parking and kerbside stop. I did well in everything even though i thought i failed. I passed anyways and iam so happy. The test officer name is aliese or something like that. Thanks to him for keeping me calm. Iam so happy i got my licence now and i will drive safely.
