I get a call from their call centre atleast once a week , every week I ask them to stop calling me , and every week another call . β€œCall centre based in Sydney” if they’re truly a legitimate company they should spend the money to find a better call centre not based overseas that can’t follow simple instructions. Feels like a scam .

Something is going on with Sun max Solar.Contacted them 5 days ago..always blaming grid outage with constant excuses. Now after I threatened department of fair trading. They have disapeared..Not Contactable nor do they respond to emails. Warranty work. I've tried from varies mobile numbers as I thought I may have been blocked. But no ringtone line is dead. From any number I have used. Now I have the cost of a technician who checked out my system. I will try and call Good we and explain to them what is going on. Sun max is for sales only. Not to be trusted.19/2/26 Done some research Sun Max Solar was de registered in 2022 and re registered as Sun Max Solarark .. I purchased my system in 2021 No wonder they won't do it under warranty... Keep Clear of these shonks... You may receive what I did.

We have been in touch Benny. He always answered emails or phone calls. HOWEVER once we paid the deposit communication stopped. I asked numerous times over the past six months when the installation is happening but all we got is emails saying we will be updated. However an update never comes. When the supervisor comes in Bord as we asked for him the tone becomes more aggressive. Now we are told we can either wait or get out deposit back. So we wait for months for an installation appointment to than be told its our choice to wait (6 months now) or take the deposit back. Well you know we have better things to do than provide pictures, documents, answer questions, pay a deposit to than just wait and as it seems all this work was invane as it doesn’t look like they will ever install the system. By now I actually wonder if that is something systemic. Because I suppose many people will be so stressed that they dont bother with the deposit and move on. Bottomline: Be more than cautious when engaging with these guys. The good prices they offer might cost you way more than you save given that the installation might never happen

I have been in touch Benny over quite a period. He was always quick to answer emails or phone calls. He actually followed up himself to a degree that felt almost to much. In September last year I than paid the deposit being told that would ensure an installation before christmas. HOWEVER once I had paid the deposit communication basically dropped dead. Now it was me asking for updates on a regular basis but only to receive generic replies. Than his supervisor finally got back to me saying that they need to find an installer. When asking why they took us on Bord if they cant deliver the service did not result in a satisfactory answer. So in December I was all of the sudden advised that either I get my deposit back or wait until January and than we will be treated with priority. Well it is almost mid January. My phone calls dont get answered. I have sent two emails. One to Benny and one to his supervisor Vince. NO reply. This is unacceptable and to whinge to the customer that they have to many orders is not the way to go. If you cant provide than dont take on more customers

After the initial consultation with Alex, he sent me a detailed panel layout and quote with different inverter options. Found their price very competitive and confirmed my order with Sun Max Solar within hours after reviewing it. I was given an ETA of 3 weeks for installation, however, I was contacted by their operations team two days later saying they will install next week. Due to wet weather conditions installation couldn't be completed on the initial day and had to reschedule. The installers cracked a few roof tiles but the installer told me where to source the tiles from and when they came to install the following week they replaced all the cracked tiles for me and asked me to inspect them before they wrap up the site. I am very happy with the completed installation, they cleaned up the site and took all rubbish with them. The installer has done a very neat job and connected everything to the main switch and paid nothing for the meter upgrade as it was all connected just a simple meter replacement to a smart meter. After the installation was completed Peter from operations contacted asking to clear the remainder of the invoice and all paperwork including CES, warranties were e
