Since I have been a client of Sydney Centre for Psychological medicine I have never had an issue with appointments especially when I needed to arrange an urgent appointment. Also as sometimes I needed specialist medical reports for various reasons I was always looked after and well served. The secretaries are very friendly and understanding and well mannered. Dr Benjamin is a well qualified and experienced psychiatrist who is very dedicated to serve his clients and care about them not only as part of his work ethics but as someone who is very concerned about the well being of his clients in all and every aspect of the clients' life which may have an effect on their well being. I have being cared for by Dr Benjamin for over two decades already and I have always appreciated the fact that he always was there for me in my hard times and rejoiced with me in my recovery and good times. I understand that some people may need specialist help at some stage of their lives but for some reason they either never seek it or do not know about the help which is offered for them. Dr Benjamin is a kind and had a good bed manner. He is very systematic with his assessments during every appointment and always remembers the whole picture, he works well with patients that have comorbidities. He listens to you if you have concerns about your medication regimen and doesn’t force you to take anything your uncomfortable taking. I believe he’s tries to approach your holistically and encourages you to also look and monitor your physical health as well. I have been seeing him for over a year and a half. I trust his opinions and judgement.

Dr Benjamin is a heartfelt psychiatrist which is hard to come by. Before having him as my Dr , I struggled to speak to other psychiatrists and opening up. He makes feel safe and I’m able to speak openly about what I’m dealing with without the feeling of judgement or being called crazy. Other DRs seem cold and straight to the point , but Dr Benjamin talks to you and actually helps you. Thank you Dr Benjamin✨

I saw Dr Benjamin in October for a consultation. Unfortunately from the start it seemed he only wanted to take my money. He booked me in without a follow up appointment and according to him he was able to make an assessment on my mental health in under 1 hour. He was highly unprofessional following the appointment sending a useless report to my GP which was 1 page long and telling me to go back to my GP for answers when I paid him $650 to find some answers. Highly recommend people to stay away from this person instead of wasting your money.

Not every Doctor offers best practice, Dr Benjamin does. He offers evidence based treatments and is very thorough in his explanations of why and how. He takes the time to listen, allows open communication and I always feel heard after every appointment. He also offers sound advice and I am so grateful.
