Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Getting around Sydney is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy centres, and most suburban shops have their own car park. I had an amazing experience at Sydney Hand and I Hospital after a pretty scary accident where I dropped a knife into my finger. I was worried I’d damaged a tendon, but thankfully that wasn’t the case. From start to finish, the entire team was incredible—calm, professional, and genuinely caring. Everything was handled quickly and efficiently, and I felt completely looked after the whole time. A big thank you to Lilly, the surgeon, who was outstanding. Her skill and confidence were obvious, and she did an incredible job. Elena, Dylan, Flo, and Lauren were all fantastic—kind, reassuring, and supportive throughout the process. I was lucky that the injury ended up being less severe than expected, and the team was able to fully repair my finger. I made a full recovery within a couple of weeks. Also a shoutout to Jasmine, the hand rehab specialist, who was amazing during recovery—very calm, patient, and helpful. Overall, I couldn’t be more grateful. The level of care and professionalism here is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Great service considering the unexpected environment of the clinic. Staff are fantastic, my therapist Sarah and her colleagues goes above and beyond with my hand recovery. Dr Strong performed a perfect surgery, especially with the severity of my case

The level of unprofessionalism at Sydney Hand Clinic is astonishing. Unfortunately, I’ve had to visit this clinic multiple times, and each experience has reflected the same lack of professionalism and care. I am always instructed to arrive 15 minutes early, yet I consistently end up waiting sometimes for as long as five hours to be seen. This is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the front desk staff often appear unsure of what they are doing, which only adds to the frustration patients are already dealing with. Based on other reviews and my own observations, it is surprising that this clinic continues to operate in this manner. I also found the quality of medical care to be substandard. The splint that was supposedly fitted professionally broke and fell off shortly after I arrived home due to what appeared to be cheap materials. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of care and service provided. I would strongly recommend avoiding this tacky clinic and seeking treatment elsewhere.

Maybe the hospital is in a different time zone? Had to wait like I was 2 hours early to my BOOKED appointment on a calm Wednesday. Don’t really get how it’s possible for a booked appointment at 11. Management gotta wake up Coming from Sweden is was chocked about how bad the healthcare is. It’s worse then 3th world country’s. The doctors were ok so it’s more about the management that should be ashamed for letting their staff work in this mess. Reading other reviews and seeing this has been an ongoing problem here…. I don’t get it. Wake up

Extremely poor experience at the hand unit: waited over 7 hours on the first visit for a deep cut, and over 2 hours for a scheduled appointment despite arriving early, while patients who came later were seen first. Staff showed no apology or acknowledgment—completely unacceptable.”
