Poor service. It's not fair to charge the full price when you can't provide water to my house. I had to spend my own money to buy water. Very disappointing.

Sydney water customer service is a joke. You send them an email they say they will investigate it. A week later they say too busy to reply to your email please call them. You call them you get a recording saying please email customer services. An eternal loop. Just sack the head of customer services. Reboot

Thank you so much for the team who repaired and cleaned up my yard after the neighbour's sewer blocked. All fixed day after I lodged the job. I'm so grateful. Please pass my thanks onto the team who handled it in 2147.

I contacted WaterFix to fix a leaking recycled water tap connected to my garden irrigation system. Instead of solving the problem, Sydney Water made it worse. Their contractor replaced my existing tap with a mandatory purple recycled water tap, as required by their policy — but this tap is incompatible with most irrigation systems. Now I have to use an extra connector that leaks badly and occasionally disconnects under pressure, wasting water everywhere. When I raised the issue, Sydney Water said they were just following policy and considered it my problem, even though the issue only started after their intervention. The second contractor they sent also couldn’t help because they were bound by the same rule. In short, a simple leak repair turned into a bigger problem, and Sydney Water refuses to take accountability for a flawed policy that creates more waste instead of fixing it.

Google search shows "Sydney Water is a statutory state-owned corporation. It is 100% owned by the people of New South Wales. " Sadly it is not, it's full of "bureaucratic" & "arrogance" staffs don't care people of NSW with poor service. Not like electricity or gas, you can not choose other service providers so Sydney Water does NOT care you. 18/8/2025: Another leaking issue We followed up with Sydney Water about another bad leak that’s been going on for over 3 months. They told us it’s from a strata property, which is fine, but they refused to give us the strata management company’s details for that building… this isn’t personal privacy. Then we asked if the lady could call the strata management company to remind them the leak hasn’t been fixed and is getting worse, and she told us it’s not their job. So with a bad leak going on for months, Sydney Water refused to give us the strata contact and also refused to contact the strata company themselves—even though they know there’s been a bad leak for months? This is Sydney Water, a company asking everyone to save water, but they refuse to make a call when they know there’s a bad leak wasting a huge amount of fresh water—just because i
