Terry White Pharmacy on Macquarie Street Sydney is a great store. The staff are not just knowledgeable, they have a caring and genuine attitude. Today I was served by a delightful lady, her name is Isabella and she explained all my prescriptions in "layman's" terms. I have had my yearly vaccinations there too. Pricing is very competitive and is in close proximity to Martin Place Station, Parliament House and a number of 5 star hotels. All in all, it's like an old fashioned chemist in the CBD of Sydney.

Quite a lengthy and convoluted story but to keep it short: I have been strongly overpriced for my medicine ($170 extra / box, I bought 3 boxes before I realised this). And i am not comparing to another pharmacy, I anonymously asked for a quote to that same pharmacy and when not knowing my historical payment the price dropped by $170. When I went there to check the price (anonymously) I was faced by an extremely nice and empathetic chemist. I did not want to make a fuss with her so I left without saying anything, and she’s the reason I put 2 stars and not 1. The staff I faced has always been nice, I just think something went wrong and someone made a very poor decision which costed me $450+ . And this deserved at least a feedback.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while but forgot! Just emphasising what everyone else has said - Ruthanne Jaja is the go-to. I’ve never had a health professional who has shown so much genuine compassion and care towards their patients. Even as I was waiting in the store for my consultation, I noticed that she was talking to another lady in the store and explaining something in-depth to her with a genuine smile. When it came time for my consultation, she reassured me and although I walked into the pharmacy a bit nervous, she made me feel really comfortable and that I was not being judged at all. On top of this, she was extremely knowledgeable, educating me with information I didn’t even know would be necessary for my situation. The rest of the front counter staff were also extremely friendly and helpful and you can really tell that there is a standard of exceptional service this particular TerryWhite aims to provide. :)

If I could give a 10 star rating out of 5 I would! The staff at the pharmacy were amazing and super helpful! I was relocating for the UK and came to Terry White by chance and they not only helped me dispense 6 months worth of medication (which involved contacting and borrowing stock from another pharmacy) but immediately also alerted me to the meningitis outbreak in the UK… and were able to vaccinate me on the spot. They wouldn’t have found out I was leaving for the UK had they not been super friendly, open and welcoming and the level of professionalism is outstanding. Cannot recommend them enough! Julia was also fantastic with administering the vaccines and found the “blind spots” in the shoulder and Ruthanne was super compassionate and incredibly helpful! They are now my go to pharmacy!!! Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing place. Staff are SUPER helpful and friendly. Julia looked after me and she was incredible. I went to get booster jabs before going to Vietnam. I’m a UK citizen so I was a little bit lost trying to sort it out on the other side of the world. But these guys made everything super easy. Couldn’t recommend enough for other travellers!
