Shout out to Kevin! (I hope I got his name right) I have plantar fasciitis, and my podiatrist recommended that I change my shoes, so I visited this store. Kevin was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful while I tried on many different shoes and sizes. He gave me multiple options that could help reduce my foot pain and took the time to explain the differences between them. I really appreciated his kindness and recommendations. I bought Brooks ghost black finally and those are really supportive. Thank you so much for your help, Kevin! I’ll definitely visit this store again.👍🏻

Best customer service experience I ever had. It was a pleasant experience buying from this store as the shop assistant was very helpful and knowledgeable about foot wear. Although not the cheapest store in town, the service provided was exceptional.

I visited The Athlete’s Foot yesterday evening at 5:48pm (9th June) after work intending to purchase a pair of shoes. Before making a purchase, I wanted to have my foot size measured to ensure I selected the correct fit. Unfortunately, the staff member serving that evening declined to assist me, stating that taking a shoe measurement would take too long as they close at 6. This was extremely disappointing, particularly given that proper fitting and expert advice are core services that customers expect from a specialist footwear retailer. In a market where products are often similar across competitors, customer service is what truly differentiates a business. When a company fails to provide even a basic level of assistance to a customer who is ready to make a purchase, it raises concerns about the service culture and priorities of the organisation. I arrived prepared to spend money, but the experience left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. It only takes one poor interaction to permanently change a customer’s perception of a business, and unfortunately this experience has resulted in me choosing not to shop with The Athlete’s Foot in the future.

Not the biggest store but enough to handle most enquiries, convenient location in the CBD. Jason, Jasmine and Sujjit were very helpful and direct in their recommendations. The suggestion for additional insoles for comfort was not an upsell, and I took advantage of three sock pairs for $70. There is no price match, but they will consider individual requests.
