Would be nice if the Government can build some ledges for people to sit like the Rozelle Parklands to formalise this venue as live events/music/arts outdoors, as the park is very big walking can be a trek.

Our attempt to get wristbands for the New Year's celebration was a complete disaster. After parking far from the park (all the car parks were closed), we couldn't find any signs directing us to the wristband collection point. As we walked towards where we thought it was, we encountered a "No Entry" rope and a security guard who told us we had to backtrack and cross the river to access the other side of the park. We were supposed to collect the wristbands by 1:00 PM, and it was a scorching hot day. We stood behind a long line to get our wrist band but By 1:20 PM, no one had received their wristbands. Disappointed, we gave up and went home. I can't understand why they didn't offer online wristband delivery. It was my worst New Year's experience.

Saturday 21st ,The Saturday Night Symphony under the stars took place. 😊 Was an amazing free event and a great turn out. Great for families, friends, couples or if you wanted a date my self idea πŸ˜…. The crescent is such a great setting for this. Enjoyed the music and great fireworks display. On normal days you can definitely use this space to relax with a picnic and or do some training drills. Please always visit and take what ever you have bought to keep our spaces clean.

Splendid park! Serene place to be. A great area to relax, chill and enjoy the work of mother nature. Worth stopping by if you're a tourist away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great picnic destination for your family. πŸ‘πŸΌ

An east facing hill named by Captain Arthur Phillip in 1788. This location is sometimes used by the local council to host musical events. People who like exercising also enjoy walking and running up and down the hill here. The stairs down The Crescent are located not far away from the Boar War Memorial. Carparking is located back near the Old Government House.
