Rump lunch special $20 overcooked very dry not enjoyable at all did mention to manager. The chicken with garlic mushroom sauce VERY garlic taste and to much sauce Vegs were good $18. Happy hour $6 Mon Fri VB Carlton beers 12 to 2 good value. Suggest have few hh then go next door to Volcanos lunch special char grilled rump $19 chips salad sauce cooked perfect and grilled chicken $16 very nice 2 decent size pieces of chicken. Then back to pub few more.

If you’re looking for the definition of insolent service look no further. Crown Hotel Tuesday Lunch Time service. Wasn’t even looking at me when asking about food or drink. Too busy chatting to her friend who also seems distracted. We came a long way. We settled here it as it was really quiet. The food was good size & tasted nice, but the service was terrible. I think I understand why it was so quiet, someone was upset over the service we heard it four people got up & left. Approximate 6 people at least downstairs before the customer left. Customer service is everything. Our first time here, there will be no more unless the islander looking girl is replaced with someone who likes people & their career.

Pros: Good location. Good happy hours. Sports and chilled out atmosphere. Cons: Service for food is slow. Food was oily and the chips were not drained for oil after frying ( it's a basic step ). Need attention on food quality.

There is only one negative thing to say about The Crown Hotel, and that is that silly me didn't find this place earlier. Perfect sports lounge area, Asahi on tap and hands down the BEST calamari I have ever had. Fast service, fresh food, cold beer, footy on the tv....... absolutely perfect 👌
