I originally went to see Robert after pulling my back out, but what impressed me most was that he looked far beyond the immediate pain. Instead of just treating my back, he identified deeper issues connected to old reconstructive surgery, tension through my jaw and skull, and years of shallow breathing patterns I didn’t even realise I had. Within just a few sessions, I’ve experienced noticeable shifts not only in my pain levels, but in how my whole body feels and functions. Robert has an incredible ability to connect the dots across the body and explain things in a way that makes complete sense. His passion, knowledge, and genuine care are obvious from the moment you meet him. Happy Body Clinic is the perfect name — Robert doesn’t just treat symptoms, he helps your body work in harmony again. If you’re dealing with pain, stress, tension, or chronic issues, I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I was recommended Dr Morrissey for my posture, spinal alignment and general holistic wellbeing. I could not be more impressed with the level of information, expertise, and results I have achieved so far. Every session I come out of I feel renewed energy, and lightness, while at the same time fully relaxed and peaceful. It has been game changer for me, and I couldn’t recommend Dr Morrissey more for any muscular, skeletal, or nervous system issues you would like addressed.

As a 64-year-old athlete still playing Masters Rugby League, Touch Rugby and staying highly active with the gym, hiking and diving. The ensuing years of sport battle scars had me seeing Osteos, Chiros, and Physios plus acupuncture and remedial massages weekly just to manage. Despite all that treatment, I never received the level of insight or results that I got from Robert. I originally booked a 1 hour session for sciatica and sacroiliac adjustment, but Robert gave me a 2-hour, full-body "reset." Instead of just chasing the symptom, he addressed my gait, my breathing, and old footy injuries I’d long forgotten about. By the time he was done, the chronic pain in my shoulders, rotator cuffs, neck, hamstrings, and Achilles was gone. He doesn’t just treat—he recalibrates you from head to toe. I still want to play, compete and move freely in the years to come. I was only in Sydney for a few days after a Masters Rugby League tournament in Rarotonga before flying back to Auckland, but I am already making plans to come back and finish the treatment. Highly recommend Robert. I originally went in for jaw pain and have noticed such a significant difference - not just in my jaw, but in how I feel overall. His approach and knowledge is incredible and has helped me in so many ways I didn’t even realise were connected. I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Highly recommend.

Robert is amazing I have osteo necrosis in my knees among other things and hobbled in after having to stop 3 times walking 3 blocks. And after my first visit he said let’s fix your knees and then strayed on my neck and chest. Which opened up my chest and reset my nervous system. He didn’t touch my knees yet I walked home without stopping . He is very thorough and really knows how to get to the root cause I highly recommend Robert at the happy body. Ross

Robert truly is the equivalent of a body magician! The fully holistic and thorough approach he takes and the dedication and enthusiasm to get to the route cause of it, I've never met anyone like him and the world needs more of him! His plan is to get you fixed so you don't have to come back, so that you leave feeling like you've got a new body and a plan to keep it that way. I had multiple injuries from over the years such as sprained ankle, broken ribs, broken collarbone, sciatica, headaches and even though I do lots of surfing and yoga balance felt off and he's managed to get to the root cause of them all. Would highly recommend to anyone whether you have an injury or not to have a healthy and happy working body!
