This is a really excellent resource. It’s a lovely space that is used by various women’s groups as well as a quiet place to read or study. The volunteers are lovely too!

How many feminists does it take to change a light bulb? One, and it's not funny! Anyway, here's an interesting hypothetical. Would a woman in a burqa be allowed to borrow from TWL? Such a woman reinforces the patriarchal paradigm, so, probably not. Therefore, TWL is merely a space for privileged, white, bourgeoisie women, just as Simone de Beauvoir's, The Second Sex concerns itself with white, bourgeoisie women.
