Lamingtons are definitely good, worth coming in at least once. Soft and delicate with flavours not too sweat and lovely fruity. A bit pricy though, $8.50 per lamington and $7.80 per onigiri. Good vibe too, small town and small cafe. Quiet too.

ONE OF THE BEST CAFE 🤤 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 🫰🏻 The staff are really friendly and nice :) The store is perfect to take picture and spend an afternoon there. Bought : - Tuna onigiri $7.80 8/10 It’s a really nice onigiri, rice taste good tuna taste good, it’s perfect for afternoon tea snack. But I’m pretty sure they mixed with yuzu (?) which its not really my cup of tea. The seaweed is really soft when I first got the order(I opened it when I first got it), so I’m not sure if the onigiri is fresh made. (it was slightly warm when I got it) I think it would taste good with yuzu and more tuna is better. Also the seaweed :> Didn’t try the lamington yet, so definitely will go again try other food & drinks.

What a cute little cafe! Great coffee, great lamingtons and great atmosphere. The team who was working there on the day were so lovely and the atmosphere is a stand out. A little small inside but they have outdoor seating as well so its perfect for a sip and chat or a quick takeaway. The best spot to start your newtown outings!

Nice food, refreshing drinks, and the cutest dog welcoming you at the door 🐶🌿 Surrounded by lush green trees, this place feels like a little escape from the busy day. I always find myself coming back here it’s just that kind of spot 😊 And their sandwiches? Absolutely my favorite. Simple, fresh, and so satisfying every time. If you’re looking for somewhere cozy to relax and enjoy good food, this is it 🤍

Very disappointed, I had to throw my iced oat matcha in the bin. I’ve been here before and vaguely remember the matcha being good. This is my second visit and I don’t know if I will be back anymore unfortunately. I asked for no sweetener and less milk. I immediately noticed the lack of colour, but I gave it a chance. For some reason there was no ice in my drink? I also ordered a cold brew for my partner and there was plenty of ice in it. The matcha itself unfortunately just tasted like pure milk, despite there being less milk. The texture was grainy so I dont think it was whisked properly. I can see in other reviews that there is a very vibrant green in their matcha drinks, so perhaps this one wasn’t made to their usual standard. But for the cost of a matcha these days, it really needs to be right every time.
