Tumbalong Park is the perfect place to do anything! Last week I went there with my friends to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the big screen and it was amazing. Best part - free entry! The atmosphere was so lively, family-friendly, and right in the heart of the city near Darling Harbour. There's so much space to relax, picnic, play, or just hang out. Loved the vibe and will definitely be back for more events. A must-visit spot in Sydney!

Tumbalong Park at Vivid Sydney is not merely a festival stop; it is one of the most atmospheric public spaces in the entire program. What makes it work so well is the layering: live music, open-air crowds, food stalls, light installations, and the dramatic presence of fire all operating together without feeling forced. The park becomes a theatre of movement and mood β€” families on the grass, visitors drifting between stalls, music carrying through the cold night air, and flames adding warmth, spectacle and a primal visual pull. The live music program gives the space its heartbeat. Rather than feeling like background entertainment, it anchors the experience and turns Tumbalong into a genuinely communal gathering place. The food stalls add another strong sensory layer, with smoke, spice and street-food aromas making the visit feel generous and festive. The fire gardens and flame-led displays are the real highlight. They bring texture and drama to the night: flickering heat, sculptural light, and that rare festival quality where people instinctively slow down, gather, watch, and feel present. As a Vivid destination, Tumbalong Park succeeds because it is accessible, social, family-f
