After 5 months of travelling South East Asia, the East coast of Australia and Bali I can safely say this was my favourite hostel of all. The cleanliness is second to none with facilities cleaned numerous times daily and the activities are great for travellers- especially when solo like myself. Staff make a huge effort to make everyone feel included at the social events, especially Holly who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Couldn’t recommend enough!

My overall stay has been brilliant. I came here on my own and am usually quite a timid person, but the staff have done an incredible job at getting everyone involved, making it so much easier to make new friends. Specifically, Ella on cheese and wine night every Wednesday she always brings the vibes, ready to party and always smiling, getting everybody involved in the games, even throughout the week with all the different events.As a solo traveler I owe it to her that I feel so comfortable here.

Niamh (British niamh) was absolutely brilliant during my stay at Wake Up. She was always friendly, approachable, and happy to help with anything I needed. Her positive attitude and local knowledge made the experience even better, and she went out of her way to make guests feel welcome. It’s staff like Niamh that make a hostel memorable. Thanks for all your help and for making my stay such an enjoyable one!
