We loved our experience at the Wildlife Retreat! We stayed in an animal view room, which probably wasnβt necessary as there was just one koala to look at - I think any room would be great. Rooms are simple but nice. The real experience was going on the fabulous tours, which we thoroughly enjoyed (you can book them on check in). We only stayed one night but went on the sanctuary tour, night tour and morning tour. The guides, Bri and Robby were both fantastic! It was great to be in the zoo before and after it closed. Breakfast was simple but good, with a nice range, and the view was exceptional from the restaurant. Was a nice touch to have parking included free in the stay. Would thoroughly recommend the experience!

What a wonderful unique experience! The staff were exceptional, our room was perfect for my family and we had a super active koala outside our window. The resort itself is beautifully designed in every detail and the views back to the city are lovely. Honestly itβs seems well worth the money since breakfast, zoo tickets and several private zoo tours are included. Highlight of our trip to Australia.

We had the most incredible two-night stay, booked via Luxury Escapes. Absolutely amazing holiday which we highly recommend! Rooms are spacious and serene, and it was fascinating to watch kangaroos from our window. You must join every tour offered, the guides are smashing (Helen, Emily and Viv, thank you π)- brimming with knowlege and passion, and entertaining as well. Beautiful breakfast with a heavenly view, and N'gurra lounge is a great spot for cocktail and fries. One of our most memorable trips and we'll be talking about it for years to come. Please go, you will not regret it!! π₯°

Everything was amazing. From the moment we were welcomed at the gate our experience was warm, inviting and friendly. The staff were attentive. They had so much included and on offer. Having access to the zoo over the stay was fabulous. Then a couple of behind the scenes tours you can do outside zoo hours because of your stay is a great offer. The rooms were everything you need. We booked the bush land room and were looking out at the kangaroos. It was lovely! The bed was so comfy!! Amenities in the room were great too. The scenes walking through the accommodation were unreal with the view of the opera house and bridge in the background. Amazing. The breakfast was nice, did the trick. They have what you would expect at a buffet, nothing fancy. Would definitely recommend getting there earlier, donβt leave it til the end of the buffet. They were turning people away at 9am because it was full and there was a big line waiting to get a seat before breakfast ended. We ate at Me-Gal for lunch, however would have loved to have been up there for sunset, would have been absolutely stunning. Highly recommend! The food is delicious! Book ahead. Thank you for our stay. Canβt wait to go back agai
