We were extremely disappointed with our Apollo motorhome hire, which we booked through thl. We had originally booked a Mighty Double Up but were given a different Apollo 6-berth motorhome at collection. When we queried this, we were told, "You got what you booked." As this was not the vehicle we had reserved, the response was confusing and disappointing. Unfortunately, the Apollo motorhome turned out to have numerous significant issues throughout our three week trip. Upon collecting the motorhome, we both noted how dirty it was inside. Our chopping boards that we brought from home are now permanently stained black and brown on the edges after being stored in the cupboards. The drawer latches also repeatedly failed, causing the drawers to swing open while driving throughout the trip. We also paid for the camping package, which was supposed to include two camping chairs and an outdoor table, but there was only one camping chair and no table. Early in the trip, the motorhome broke down and we lost valuable holiday time while waiting for assistance. Although the issue was resolved, it set the tone for what became a very frustrating rental experience. It then took almost two weeks to

We rented a Maxus campervan from Britz for our Australia trip and it honestly exceeded every expectation. The van was modern, super comfortable, and surprisingly easy to drive even on longer road trips. The interior setup was incredibly practical — loads of storage, a comfortable bed, functional kitchen, and everything felt clean and well-designed. What really stood out was how reliable the Maxus was. Smooth driving, great fuel efficiency for a campervan, and enough power to handle highways, coastal roads, and mountain drives without any issues. It genuinely felt more like driving a modern SUV than a bulky camper. The freedom this van gave us was unreal — waking up next to beaches, cooking dinner with ocean views, and being able to stop anywhere made the whole experience unforgettable. Perfect setup for both short getaways and long adventures around Australia. If you’re considering a road trip, I’d 100% recommend a Maxus from Britz. Comfortable, reliable, practical, and made the entire trip so much better.

Our experience with Apollo Camper was amazing from start to finish. The camper had absolutely everything we needed — super comfortable, clean, well equipped, and perfect for traveling around Australia. It honestly felt like a little home on wheels. The staff were also incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful the whole time. They made everything easy and were always willing to help with any questions. You can really tell they care about their customers and want you to have a good trip. We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend Apollo to anyone planning a road trip!

Had a great experience with Britz on a road trip from Cairns to Sydney, around 3000km across Australia. The camper was reliable, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for the trip. Support was also surprisingly fast, every email I sent got a quick response. Big thanks to Lenny in Cairns for an easy pickup, and Binanka in Sydney for the smooth return process 🫶🏻 Overall an awesome road trip experience and I would definitely use Britz again 😁

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with our Maui motorhome over the long weekend—easily a five-star adventure! From the moment we picked it up, everything was smooth and stress-free. The vehicle was spotless, modern, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The layout was thoughtfully designed, making great use of space, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable after long days of exploring. Driving the motorhome was much easier than expected, even for first-timers, and it handled beautifully on both highways and smaller scenic roads. The onboard facilities—kitchen, bathroom, and storage—were all in excellent condition and made our trip feel like a home on wheels. What really stood out was the freedom it gave us. We were able to explore at our own pace, wake up to stunning views, and truly make the most of the long weekend without any hassle. We’d highly recommend Maui motorhomes to anyone looking for a memorable road trip experience. We’ll definitely be booking again!
