My wife and I decided to try this fine dining restaurant to celebrate our last night of our trip. This was our first time trying fine dining in Australia. So, our experience may not be 100% accurate. The restaurant is located just few minutes away from the Sydney Opera House. It will depend on the seat, but most seats would offer partial views of the Sydney Opera House and/or the Harbour Bridge. All staff members that we encountered were polite and professional. We opted for the 8-course meal, myself with wine pairing. Because my wife is pregnant, we had to make changes to a number of dishes and they were happy to accommodate. Each dish was presented beautifully. The chefs clearly explained each dish, highlighting the ingredients and cooking techniques used. All the dishes were delicious and my favourite dish was the quail - perfectly cooked, delicate, gamey, perfectly pairing sauce. The only let down for us was the interval between our last entree dish and first main dish. It took rather longer than we anticipated. I had the 8-course tasting menu at ARIA Restaurant Sydney and it was an absolutely incredible experience. Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with high-quality ingredients and perfectly balanced dishes from start to finish. Everything was genuinely delicious. The service was impeccable: attentive, professional and warm throughout the entire evening, making the experience feel truly special. And of course, the stunning view of the Sydney Opera House makes the atmosphere even more unforgettable. One of the best fine dining experiences I’ve had in Sydney. Highly recommended for a special occasion or an elegant night out. I celebrated my birthday and so happy I chose this restaurant.

Came here for dinner birthday celebration. Food was excellent, particularly enjoyed the chawanmushi egg with crab. They kind to give a bonus birthday cake to celebrate our birthday. The staff acknowledged our dietary requirements and provided great alternatives to the menu. The view of Sydney Harbour was beautiful and atmosphere was great. Overall a memorable experience.

Fantastic food here at Aria! We got the 5 course tasting menu and the highlights were definitely the chawanmushi, agnolotti and duck for me. I didn’t like the dessert much but that’s just a personal flavour preference. Presentation was lovely. Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was calm. It’s great that the music and ambient sounds aren’t overpowering! Definitely a place we’d revisit in the future.

Came here for a date night and we opted for the 8 course tasting menu. Each dish was beautifully presented, often featuring flowers or leaves, which gave the whole experience a subtle flora-inspired theme. The food was decent overall - some dishes were better than others, but none of the 8 courses really stood out as exceptional. They were all good, just not particularly memorable. The service was decent, and you could tell the staff were making an effort. The view was also lovely and added to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience, though not one that truly stood out.
