⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Overall, I’m happy with the performance and installation quality of my solar and battery system from Austar Solar. The system has been operating well, and the workmanship of the installers was excellent. However, the overall journey was far more stressful than it needed to be. A major reason I chose Austar Solar was Nigel. From the beginning, he was knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to answer my questions. Whenever issues arose, he genuinely tried to help and defend what had originally been agreed. My original agreement was for a GoodWe 20kW inverter with a 48kWh battery system. Unfortunately, GoodWe experienced stock shortages across Australia, meaning the original system could no longer be supplied. I completely understand that this was outside Austar Solar’s control. After discussing the alternatives with Nigel, I agreed to change my order to a FoxESS H3 Smart 15kW inverter with a 42kWh battery system. Unfortunately, this was where the project management issues began. The battery and inverter installation was originally scheduled for 24 April. I just want to say a big thank you to Nigel from austar solar, we have had our solar and battery installed about a month ago and since have been completely self sufficient using only 36c of grid power lol. Nigel was knowledgeable and super helpful in guiding us into the right option for us. We also didn't go without power during a recent outage due to Nigel offering us some backup circuits. Once our small deposit(3%) was paid he had an installer here within 2 weeks. Honesty wish I could give 6 stars. Thanks guys I will be recommending you to family and friends and also organising another solar system soon. Cheers Troy.

We had 42kw Foxess battery installed at Port Macquarie. We had a hold up with an installer who did the wrong thing by Austar. Not their fault. Work was done neatly and professionally. Nigel and Adam were easy to deal with and always courteous. Followed up on the job till it was fully installed. Really nice guys to deal with. Thanks guys.
