Got a cut here recently and unfortunately can't recommend it. I brought a clear reference photo showing a blended, natural style. Instead, the barber gave me a harsh taper and completely over-cleared/shaved off the hair at my left temple, pushing the hairline up past its natural growth pattern. It's an amateur mistake that's going to take a few weeks to grow back out and look normal. Nice shop, but the technical execution wasn't there.

Went first thing Sunday morning, ended up having to redo my own beard when I got home as the left and right side was not symmetrical. I didn’t realize at the time as I didn’t have my glasses on, but seriously, how hard can it be to get it right. Overall experience was rushed with little to poor communication. In my experience, the feeling is they definitely want to churn through the weekend rush with little regard for professional service. I’ve tried several barbers here, common theme is not positive. On top of that, staff always pushing for cash at the end despite saying I never carry cash.

I had the pleasure of getting a haircut from Yousef recently, and I can honestly say it was one of the best barber experiences I’ve had in years. From the moment I sat down, he was professional, respectful, and clearly passionate about his work. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond expectations. The attention to detail was exceptional — clean fade, sharp lines, and a perfectly styled finish. It’s rare these days to find someone who genuinely takes pride in their craft, but Yousef certainly does. I’ve already had several compliments on the haircut and will absolutely be returning.

Been getting my cuts here for a couple months now. The blokes that work here are incredible with their detailing and perfect cuts. Great fades and lineups. Got amazing cuts from both Zac and Jay. Great prices for the quality as cut as well

Finding a decent haircut at a reasonable price is almost a 'Unicorn' experience on the North Shore of Sydney, with decent/reasonable price almost being mutually exclusive. Today, after wandering both Google and Chatswood itself, I found 'Barber Industries' and 'J'. An excellent haircut, wonderful staff ('J') and reasonable (Sydney standards) price. I sat there expecting a standard guy's haircut ($35) and wondered if the price was going to increase with the eyebrow & ear hair tidy, safety razor shave of hair cut edging, warm towel to settle my hair, blow dry (with brilliant shaping) and finished off with 'product'. Nope. $35 it was. It really is the best cut and service I have had in Australia (ever). Off to meet my partner who is arriving from India. Looking good! Actually, fabulous 🥳.
