Amazing service from the team at Sonder in Chatswood. I didn’t even go in for a haircut. I was just looking for some advice because so many barber shops struggle with curly hair. The team took the time to chat with me, asked me to wait, and then gave me a free consultation on what would work best for my hair, including when to come back and what to do in the meantime. A special shoutout to Loki, who was incredibly helpful and generous with his time. It’s rare to find a business that genuinely wants to help, even when you’re not paying for a service on the spot. I would definitely recommend Sonder to anyone, especially people with curly, textured, or difficult-to-manage hair. Their knowledge, professionalism, and customer service are outstanding.

Extremely overpriced for what you actually get. No wash, no sideburn fade, no hot towel, no massage, and The cut was mid at best. You could still see the guidelines on my fade. the transition between my long hair and fade on the sides was uneven. and the trim on top made my hair uneven for 3 weeks after. Messed up my growth and now i gotta start over again. 50 dollars for that is criminal. And they have the audacity to ask for 50% payment upfront before they actually cut anything. Ugh

These guys are the best in the business! Lochlan was very easy-going, friendly and just nailed the haircut, gave me exactly what I was after. Highly recommend anyone to go check out their shop and give them a try - definitely worth it! :)

If all I had was $75 to my name, I’d spend every last cent getting a haircut from Fernando. Every time he gives me a fresh cut I walk out feeling like a million bucks. Top bloke and elite barber. I have mid length curly Asian hair and have been messed up countless times by barbers in the past, but Fernando is super technical and always gives me great cuts in different styles. I highly recommend!

Super impressed with my cut at Sonder. The barbers really know what they’re doing, take their time, and actually listen to what you want. The vibe is relaxed, the place is really clean, and the attention to detail is next level. Easily one of the best barbers in Chatswood definitely coming back.
