I booked an appointment with Dr. Minerva Castor regarding my wife’s eyelid issue. It was our first time meeting her. From the moment we sat down, we already felt that she was rude in the way she spoke to us. When she asked what products my wife uses on her face, she couldn't immediately remember, and the doctor’s response was very disrespectful. We honestly felt like leaving the consultation, but my wife and I felt as though we were being scolded like children. This is the first time we have ever encountered a doctor with such a lack of compassion and kindness toward a patient who is already dealing with a health concern. My wife felt very hurt and humiliated during the appointment. At one point, she even felt like crying because the doctor made her feel foolish and uncomfortable. In all my years, we have never met a doctor who treated us in such a rude and insensitive manner.

I have avoided this place the moment I got a better GP ever since Dr Casa refused to make a request to the hospital for my discharge notes and said with no word of a lie that I was "cutting into her lunch break". Unless your practice pulls up this disrespectful doctor I will never come back. The only people that are respectful to the general public is the pathologist, nurses and pharmacists.

Overall, my experience was very good. Although the clinic was quite busy, my appointment with Dr Ratnam went smoothly. Dr Ratnam is always prompt, professional, and thorough during consultations.

I went to this clinic recently because I had really bad throat pain and just wanted someone to properly check my tonsils. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr Minerva Castor left me feeling quite disappointed and confused. When I tried to open my mouth to show my throat, she said, “everyone has tonsils,” and then refused to look further because she said she might get infected. I honestly felt dismissed in that moment, especially since that was the exact reason I came in. When I asked about getting a swab test, she mentioned that it would cost money, but the way it was said made me feel a bit embarrassed almost like I shouldn’t ask for it if I wasn’t sure about the cost. As a patient who was already unwell and stressed, that comment made the situation feel even more uncomfortable. Dr Castor did prescribe antibiotics, but I still left the appointment feeling unheard and not really cared for. I wasn’t expecting anything complicated just a proper examination and a bit of reassurance. I hope sharing my experience helps improve communication and sensitivity for future patients who are already feeling anxious or unwell.

I went to take my daughter for a blood test we waited from 11am at least 1:30 pm then the lady in the blood testing says " I want to have lunch" when it is my daughter's turn and does the blood test with no care and it hurt my daughter she cried and she didn't even say sorry or anything. After we had to book another appointment and the reception said the GP is fully booked for the next day but when we got home my daughter got a message that her appointment is at 1:15 but I thought he was fully booked? Plus the reception kept telling us even if your appointment is at 12:30 it's up to the doctor who to let in, if it's up to the doctor then why should we book appointments? We should just have walk ins then
