As an avid book lover (and bookstore lover) I had bookmarked a LOT of bookshops to visit on our 3.5 week try to Australia. We went to over 20 shops between Sydney and Airlie Beach during our road trip and this was by FAR the best shop we went in in Australia, and honestly, one of my favourite bookshops I've been to, period. The selection is extraordinary, the organization is great. There are sections with great staff recommendations, highlighting Australian writers, promoting unique reads, and more author signed editions than I have ever seen in a bookshop, anywhere. I came here twice on my 3 days in Sydney, because I loved it so much. I can guarantee that when I return to Sydney, I 100% will return here, and I recommend anyone visiting or local to make sure this bookshop is on your list. It's a book lovers dream.

Brilliant bookstore!! Probably one of the best ones in Aus, let alone Sydney! A famous Japanese bookstore now here in Australia. I've been to their stores in Japan. Such an extensive array of all sorts of genres and a massive manga section; Art books; Japanese stationery; and Books in Japanese & Chinese language. Really good 'learning Japanese language' section too! So much time spent browsing & I bought quite a few books! Will be making a bee-line here for future trips to Sydney.

The most extensive book store I've ever had the pleasure of going in to. The sections/ genres are easily labelled and well laid out. They carry books from all genres and some i hadn't even considered or knew existed! There's an information counter and they can look up any book or author and are more than happy to order books in for you. The staff are all so knowledgeable and happy to help. Kinokuniya also have a membership on offer for only $15 and this gives you 10% off which is great considering my daughters and I spent well over $900 on our visit πŸ€ͺ Great range, great service and great value for money! Now I just need to build more shelving in my home library πŸ˜‰

Pleasant experience here today. Im thrill to see so many new authors/books here. Crime and thrillers section’s such a blast. The bookstore is well organized, very crowded but everyone’s polite and seem to be very well invested in their time here. Nice staffs.
