I was seen by Dr Athena for an urgent medical review of my eye because I could not open one side without sharp pain protruding on the eyeball in some way. I couldn’t explain exactly what the pain is caused from and just from basic description of the pain and looking meticulously, the ophthalmologist managed to pinpoint the issue and it has been so comfortable in my eye ever since. I had been referred last minute for same day checking by a nearby optometrist. There was a fair bit of a wait (about an hour or more) after the initial few checks by nurses. And I had thought that it was associated with RPA public hospital because it’s in the same building, but turned out it’s a separate private clinic. Out of pocket was quite steep but some Medicare rebate was returned. Given the quality of care, and the respect I got even though I was so anxious, I would return here again and would recommend all people who have issues with different kinds of eye problems.

After phoning to check if the Dr was on time we were told to arrive on time, it’s been over 1.5 hours and we still haven’t seen the Dr. We all understand delays happen but this system is just plain rude and it’s inconvenient. I rushed to finish work and pick up my child from school early… Update. We ended up at the clinic for 3 hours and 25 minutes (I’d say the time with the Prep nurse was about 10 minutes then the Dr took about 10 minutes. We did get a great end result and the Dr was efficient and lovely but the wait time was 🀯🀯🀯

Had my first ever specialist eye appointment today . Central Sydney eye surgeons were excellent in my consultation today, all staff were extremely professional and I would definitely recommend to anyone who requires these services . Dr Peter Hayden was very professional, courteous and answered all my questions. Highly recommend.

I recently had double lens replacement with Dr Brian Harrisburg, choosing to do both eyes at once. From the very beginning, Brian’s calm and reassuring manner gave me complete confidence in my decision and in him as my surgeon. The surgery itself was absolutely seamless, and I had no issues at all. By carefully following the aftercare instructions, my recovery was smooth and comfortable. The difference this procedure has made in my life has truly been a game changer. Brian has a wonderful way about him β€” professional, kind, and genuinely caring. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering lens replacement. He is simply the best.
