Amazing bar to watch the World Cup, unreal atmosphere and they had brekky burgers for the early start. Guinness is $16 a pint Only downside was the extremely rude Scottish barman who threatened to kick us out for no reason at all (we were ordering our first drink). Seemed like he was just in a mood and looking for an argument

Good TV, great sound system, and all the matches are available to watch. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the extremely rude behavior of two Asian bartenders. In the middle of celebrating a goal while everyone was cheering, my friend was physically pushed by one of the bartenders, who was shouting at him for bringing a coffee from outside. We had no idea that outside coffee was not allowed until that moment. Being treated like that, in front of everyone, was one of the rudest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. What made it even worse was that another customer had coffee and a croissant from outside and the same place!!!. the bartender saw him but said nothing. If there are rules, they should be applied equally to everyone and enforced in a respectful and professional manner.

Cheers Sports and Grill is in a really good location, right in the middle of Haymarket, which makes it super convenient. You’ve got restaurants, shops, and transport all around, so it’s an easy place to meet friends and start a night out. Inside, the vibe is lively and fun, with a proper sports bar atmosphere. It’s a good spot to relax, have a few drinks, and enjoy the energy of the crowd. One thing that stands out is the security at the door. Sometimes they can come across as a bit intense, joking around among themselves and seeming to pick who gets in based on their own judgement. From a customer perspective, that can occasionally feel uncomfortable and might be misunderstood as unfair treatment. Hopefully it’s just part of managing crowds and keeping things safe, but first impressions at the door do matter. That said, once you’re inside, the place is generally good fun. The atmosphere is social, the location is excellent, and it’s a solid venue to hang out with friends. Overall, it’s an enjoyable spot in Haymarket for a casual night out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely unreal experience at Cheers! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of good vibes. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The drinks were spot on — great quality, well presented, and served fast. You can really tell they care about their customers and the overall experience. It’s the kind of place you come once and instantly want to come back again. Perfect spot to relax, have a few drinks, and enjoy the night. Highly recommend this place — easily one of the best bars around. I’ll definitely be back!
