About CHEF N WOK
Located at 70-72 Druitt St, Sydney NSW 2000, CHEF N WOK operates as an asian restaurant serving Sydney in New South Wales. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Australia ranges from beachside takeaways to hatted dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. If you have dietary needs, most kitchens will adapt a dish if you ask. Licensed venues serve alcohol; BYO places let you bring a bottle for a small corkage fee. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.
Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 amβ3 pm. Hours in Australia do change around public holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 0452 398 885. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a mobile. Its website is chefnwok.com.au, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 781 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian restaurants in Sydney.
Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Traffic in Sydney peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the unit or street number up to the suburb, state and four-digit postcode; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Had a fantastic meal here recently. The atmosphere is lovely and everything we ordered tasted incredible. The soup was a highlight, served in a deep bowl with a generous helping of fresh bean sprouts and green onions on top. Every bite of the fried rice and the other dishes was packed with flavor. We really enjoyed the variety of fresh ingredients in every plate. I cannot wait to come back. This place is a gem in the city.

My wife and I are visiting Sydney and staying by Darling Harbour, and our hotel is right by Chinatown. While walking back from Hyde Park, we came across Chef N Wok. It was very nice inside and receives high praise on Google Reviews. We shared the Mongolian Lamb. It was fabulous. We donβt have any Mongolian Lamb in the Chinese restaurants near us in Arizona. Very tasty Mongolian sauce and the lamb was very tender. Rice doesnβt come with the entreeβs here, but a small bowl was only $4 AUD. If we would be in Sydney longer, we would go back.

Laksa was absolutely delicious. The beef dish was slightly salty, but very tender and flavorful. At first, the staff member seemed a bit blunt, but I dropped my chopsticks twice and she replaced them without any complaint. When I apologized while paying, she kindly said that even if I kept dropping them, she would gladly bring new ones from the kitchen anytime. She was very kind. The only downside was that the table was quite small. Since there were two of us, we ordered two dishes and two drinks, plus tap water, and the table felt very crowded. I was worried that the plates or cups might fall. Other than that, itβs a very excellent restaurant.
