Had lunch at this spot after seeing the good reviews, but sadly this place does not live up to it. The dumplings are average to bad, and are just a frozen product you can get from the asian grocery (sun circle). I know because this is one ive bought and eaten before. Same shape, wrapper, internal meat and taste. Momos were ok and I cant comment if they were fresh or not. Overall price was expensive for what you get, no real service as its a counter and buzzer setup. Wouldn't recommend to others unless you had no other choice

Hidden in a laneway, this store serves delicious dumplings. So good. Such a beautiful vibe to end my trip in Sydney. You can also try out from the neighboring stores; they have similar cuisine. Would go back again

If you’re after a quick, cheap, filling lunch without the price tag, head down Temperance Lane and make your way to this hidden gem! The dumplings are fantastic, on par if not better than the ones you’d buy in Chinatown, without having to get halfway across town! The prices are fantastic too (16 Pork dumplings for $12!). The atmosphere even gave off international vibes, and for a brief, shining moment, I forgot I was in the middle of Sydney’s CBD! Give Laneway Dumplings and Momo a go when you’re in town and try not to be impressed!

Three local Aussies recommended this place so I decided to give it a try. The dumplings were amazing and the price for a package of eight or ten was great. I can’t quite remember the exact price but less than 10 dollars (around 4 euros). The atmosphere is what’s in the pics… I’d definitely recommend it if you like this kind of hidden-gem places.

Quaint little dumpling bar hidden in a quiet laneway that features Nepalese style momo as well as the usual fried and steamed favourites. Seating is minimal and not optimal on a rainy day but your dumplings are served to you in a ready to go container. The liquor licence is also a nice touch allowing you to enjoy a tasty bevy with your meal. Go to dish: Chicken Momo
