The drink was good, but the wait time was far too long. I ordered only one drink, and there were just two customers waiting, including me. I understand there was only one staff member working, but the wait was much longer than expected. To make matters worse, the lid wasn’t secured properly, and the drink spilled. Very disappointing.

I ordered a drink from here yesterday and was satisfied with the efficient service. There was a bit of a wait due to the busyness of the store with only one employee. Despite that, my drink was made soon after ordering and I enjoyed the drink. Will come back again ☺️

Today I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I walked in around 8pm and the store was completely empty. The opening hours say the store closes at 8:30pm, but there was no staff at the counter. After looking around, I noticed the staff member sitting in the back of the store, possibly on her phone. I had to say hello to get her attention because she did not come out to serve customers. When she finally came to the counter, her attitude was extremely unfriendly. She looked annoyed that I was there and kept giving me unpleasant looks during the whole interaction. I asked for my drink with no ice, but it still came with ice in it. When I paid with cash and needed $1 change, she gave me only 20-cent coins even though I could clearly see 50-cent coins available in the register. It honestly felt very intentional and disrespectful. As a Taiwanese customer supporting a Taiwanese drink brand in Australia, this experience made me feel very uncomfortable and disappointed. With service like this, it really makes customers not want to come back again.

I FELT TO SICK AFTER DRINKING THE TEA FROM HERE‼️ AND COULD NOT SLEEP THE WHOLE NIGHT ‼️ It was my first time trying this brand and I got the taro milk tea, the taro was okay but the tea was so so so bitter even when I asked for standard sugar. And what’s worse after like 5 minutes I began to feel super dizzy this got better but the caffeine in this tea was so so strong no joke I couldn’t sleep the whole night— and I am someone who is used to caffeine and I’ve never had something like this happen to me this bad. Honestly disappointed this is the worst milk tea I have ever tried.

Chicha San Chen makes freshly brewed tea with great distinctive flavors. Loving the flavors offered as they are genuine brews with authentic ingredients in minimum artificials. I will definitely come back everyone once in a while for a freshing clean beverage. Do note there can be a significant wait time as teas are put together with considerable care.
