For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Card and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere; some venues add a surcharge on weekends and public holidays.
Opening hours are published for 1 day a week. The most common schedule is 6 amβ5 pm. Hours in Australia do change around public holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Farmhouse Bakery Parramatta on 0452 236 772; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Discovered this place by chance from an app and I've been here a multiple times and can't stop coming back! This hidden gem of Vietnamese bakery is tucked inside a footpath outside of one of WSU building entrances, and it offers a good range of VN eats like banh mi and noodle salads, as well Aussie staples like meat pies, sausage rolls and sweet pastries. Many people already praised their banh mis, but can I just say their pies π₯§ and sausage rolls are the real deals as well. I've had pies and sausage rolls from nearby franchise bakeries but Farmhouse just does them better, both in terms of quality and at a cheaper price point. A staff lady there told me they're always baked fresh daily and it really shows. The pie crust is a beautiful golden brown and has many flaky layers. Inside are actual pieces of chunky beef and rich and thick gravy. Sausage rolls are similarly good quality, flaky outside and the fillings have a big portion of mince and are well spiced. I recommend paying a bit extra for the cheese and bacon sausage rolls. I tried their sugarcane drink as well and it didn't disappoint. They mix it with a citrus juice to balance out sugarcane's pure sweetness. I opted for the

Farmhouse Bakery is such a great addition to Parramatta. Iβve been wanting a solid local banh mi spot for ages, and this place absolutely delivers. The pork belly banh mi was the standout for me. The pork was crispy, juicy, full of flavour, and paired perfectly with the fresh veggies and bread. You can tell they care about quality instead of just pumping food out quickly. What surprised me too was how good their pies were. A lot of bakeries do one thing well and the rest feels average, but the pies here were genuinely quality. Flaky pastry, good filling, and tasted fresh instead of sitting around all day. The whole place has a nice local bakery feel while still offering something a bit different from the usual options around Parramatta. Service was friendly, food came out fresh, and the prices were reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely excited to have this spot nearby now because I can already tell Iβll be back regularly. If youβre in the area and craving a good banh mi or bakery feed, Farmhouse Bakery is worth checking out.

Absolutely loved it! The chicken banh mi is the best Iβve had β it tastes just like the ones back in Vietnam. The flavours are perfectly balanced and so authentic. And the Vietnamese coffee? To die for! Every sip and bite made me feel like I was right back in Vietnam again. Highly recommend!

Pros: Good food choices. Vietnamese authentic Banh Mi and Coffee. Staff are well adapted to make good Vietnamese food. Location is good nestled around the ally with other cafes. Good food choices for a change. Cons: Should be starting a Loyalty Coffee card for more visibility.

Stumbled upon this newly opened bΓ‘nh mΓ¬ place and had to give it a try! The bread roll was excellent! perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. The pΓ’tΓ© was super flavourful, and the bΓ‘nh mΓ¬s were great value with every bite packed with meat and veggies. We tried the crispy pork and the lemongrass chicken, and the chicken was definitely our fave! We also had the Vietnamese iced coffee, so good! The lady who served us was also very very nice π€
