I had such a lovely time getting tattooed by Jose I sent some inspiration photos and when I arrived to my session I was completely blown away by the design he created for me. The session was quick yet all the details were so precise and the tattoo turned out perfect. Thank you for for seeing the vision and giving me everything I desired in this piece.

Perfect experience for my first tattoo! Jose was extremely nice and patient when going over the tattoo process, as well as trying different variations of my design, sizes and placements. Covered up an old stick and poke perfectly without having to compromise the design and sketch style I wanted. They were extremely responsive to emails and helped immensely with planning out a design, and offering opinions to develop some of my original ideas to help longevity and healing for the tattoo! Would recommend to anyone looking for an artist to do any cover up work, as well as a such well done sketch/ etching style. The final result is exactly what I wanted and beautifully done. Will definitely be back for future tattoos!

I went to Roots Auckland Tattoo Convention with no intention to get tattooed on the day, but couldn’t resist getting this cat when I came across Jose’s work. Jose was very professional and friendly from the start. He took the time to discuss the tattoo and placement and make sure I was comfortable with it. He did a wonderful job. He then took the time to discuss care and cover with me. Real care and attention to details in a busy environment and pace of the convention. I would 100% get tattooed by him again if given the chance.

So happy with my tattoo! Was a great experience and I was very lucky to get the chance to get a Jose tattoo while in NZ thanks to the Roots convention. Wonderful tattoo artist; friendly, calming presence with very beautiful, detailed work and incredibly quick too which I always appreciate :) healed like a dream and it’s always good when you can tell you’re in the hands of a professional. Highly recommend!!

Jose’s work & professionalism is second to none. I have been following his work for years, and when the time finally came to wanting to engage his services I was very pleasantly treated. From initial email contact to first session, he was very generous with his time, which for such a large project I really appreciated and which gave me the confidence he was fully invested in, and the lead to artwork exceeding my expectations, and then some! With a colour session to follow, I know that I will have a piece of artwork that i will proudly wear with pride and will happily recommend Jose’s work to anyone without hesitation
