Very rude and condescending receptionist. The dentists were amazing, would be 0 stars if not for them. Even though I’m a member I had to ring another dental practice, first one I called I had 10x the experience. Would not recommend HCF Hurstville! Horrible, especially being a dental clinic where people are already afraid I have no idea how this is still going on seeing that all the reviews mention these non professional receptionists.

I visited the HCF dental clinic in Hurstville yesterday for a check-up and cleaning, and I had a wonderful experience. Dr. Palanivelu and the nurse were incredibly kind and professional. I mentioned that I have sensitive teeth and asked them to be gentle, and they were extremely careful and considerate throughout the entire procedure. It was honestly the most comfortable and relaxing dental cleaning I’ve ever had. They also took the time to explain each step clearly, which made me feel very at ease. I especially appreciated how thoughtful they were—reminding me not to forget my earrings after I took them off, which really showed their attention to detail. I truly enjoyed the whole experience and am very grateful for their excellent care. Highly recommended!

The receptionist is so rude and condescending, so unprofessional, would it kill you to just repeat and clarify the date and time of scheduled appointment a second time. I just got the date wrong because I couldn’t hear her properly and she was so rude to me, it was so unnecessary.

I got a phone call confirming my appointment for next day. I was told “next time reply to your messages”.So rude! Her name is Gabby I think. Unfortunately my phone has messages restriction. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice and manners are free. Use it!

My wife switch from NIB to HCF a year ago. It was a bad decision. While the dentist and her team were professional, her recent experience with their South Hurstville receptionist was extremely disappointing. The receptionist she dealt with was not only unhelpful but also unfriendly and seemingly biased in her attitude. When her denture made in mid 2025 which is still under warranty has a cracked and she has difficulty eating, she was told to wait until October which is more than a month to get it look at. This is a long wait time and a general lack of empathy. It's frustrating to see a company invest so much money into advertising, only to have such poor frontline service that really drives away both current and potential members.
