Typical car rental, clean and empty. Staff was friendly but Hertz is a garbage company with insane prices and poor selection. I showed up a little early and had to wait over 30 minutes for the car to be ready despite being the first customer of the day

Do NOT go here. They are liars and thieves. If I could rate 0 stars I would. My partner was sent here to collect a car by his insurance when our car was crashed into. They firstly tried to offload a different car on us, that was entirely electric and not practical for us. Then, when it came time to return the car, they tried to argue that the hire car was meant to be returned to Melbourne (this was never discussed, nor our plan). We also returned it early, and asked if we needed to seek car cleaning services or if the work we had done to clean it would be sufficient. They told us it wouldn’t need a professional clean and we shouldn’t expect a cleaning fee. When we returned home, we had an invoice for $210 for cleaning in our email inbox. We responded to the email to push back, never heard anything and then they charged our card. As I said, they are LIARS, disorganised and incredibly rude. When my partner called to ask about the fee, they tried to gaslight him and then hung up. We will be taking this to the small claims court.

Just wanted to call out Zena of Darlinghurst Branch NSW who assisted with my enquiry yesterday. What a pleasure to communicate with such a nice vibrant lady who went out of her way to assist. My vehicle was extended by the insurance company but the extension was not advised to Hertz. This young lady made it a breeze and finalised every aspect without any hassle. Well done. 10 out of 10 for your service, courtesy and politeness.

I had a good experience with this location. I got a car which I have requested, during pick up I was suggested to pay for tolls upfront to save (I did save by doing that). I was clearly explained where to pick up the car, where and how to drop off after hours (very simple, you park in the nearby parking lot). Nobody was rude and everyone was nice.

We got a nice upgrade on the car from Toyota Atis to a RAV4 SUV. The pickup was easy and really friendly. However, the car seems quite dirty and unwashed…even with Spider webs all over the SUV. And the fuel don’t seem to be full at pickup. A bit disappointed with the car itself.
