Great value stay in a really good location. ibis Barangaroo is only a 5-6 minute walk from Wynyard station, and there’s a Woolworths right around the corner, which made grabbing groceries and essentials easy and open till 10pm. The room is on the smaller side but clean and well set up. Comfy queen bed, good bedside lighting, a work desk, a full-length mirror, and a clean bathroom with a decent shower. It had everything I needed for the stay. Handy location, tidy room and a fair price. Would happily stay here again.

We're staying at ibis Sydney Barangaroo and having a great experience. A standout feature is the location — it’s incredibly handy, just a short walk to Darling Harbour, Barangaroo dining spots, and easy access to public transport. It made getting around Sydney effortless, including our short walk to the Maritime Museum and for catching the nearby Ferry. The room itself was well appointed and recently refurbished. Everything was fresh, modern, and thoughtfully laid out, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials you’d need for a relaxing stay. It struck a perfect balance between functionality and style. It was great value for money. For such a central location and updated rooms, the price was very reasonable compared to other options in the area. It’s an excellent choice if you’re looking for comfort and convenience without overspending. Overall, ibis Barangaroo delivers a reliable, comfortable, and well-priced stay right in the heart of Sydney — we'd happily stay here again.

I stayed at Ibis Sydney Barangaroo from 4–6 June and had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean, comfortable and a decent size. It appears to have been recently refurbished, with fresh paint and an updated bathroom. I also liked the modern, minimalist design of the room. What really stood out was the service. Peter, who checked me in, took the time to listen when I shared a disappointing experience I had at another hotel. He showed genuine empathy and even offered breakfast, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Josh, who worked the morning shift, was equally friendly and helpful. Despite working different shifts, Peter and Josh provided seamless service and were always happy to help with directions and local information. Their communication, professionalism and customer focus made a real difference to my stay. Thank you, Peter and Josh, for the excellent service. You are both a credit to the hotel.

Loved my stay here. Staff were all so friendly! Room was clean, some may say small but designed in a way it didn’t feel that way. Room was very dark! Double blinds were great. The cafe on ground floor is so comfortable to sit in. I think they don’t have a full kitchen so are doing great with what they can make. Good coffee, breakfast snacks, sandwiches etc. At night good pizza and snacks and wine. I enjoyed sitting reading on a big sofa. I asked for late check out and they gave me 12.30 with no extra charge that meant the world to me. Would stay again.
