I was extremely impressed with King Living when purchasing our sofa. The showroom experience was professional, the staff were knowledgeable, and the sales process was seamless. It felt like we were investing in a premium product backed by a company that stood behind its quality. Unfortunately, that confidence disappeared when the electronic reclining mechanism failed after only seven years. When we contacted King Living for assistance, we were told that replacement parts were no longer available. The options offered were a $300 voucher or a service to convert our reclining sofa into a standard non-reclining one. For furniture of this price and reputation, that response was both surprising and disappointing. What made the situation even more frustrating was that their email actively discouraged us from sourcing parts ourselves, stating that the components were custom-made and could not be obtained elsewhere. Yet after doing our own research, we located compatible parts online and repaired the recliner ourselves for just $70. The repair was straightforward and restored the sofa to full working order. Terrible experience/service from the moment we paid for our couches. King forgot to make the arms for our couch. Then forgot to make the cushions. After many many calls they loaned us arms and cushions until ours were ready (10-14 weeks).The cushions are still not ready but today they delivered my couch arms and left all the replacement loan arms all over the floor so we cant even sit down. Chased today but Zero customer service. What are we supposed to do with these? Ordered/paid in September. It is now April and we still dont have the complete couch. If you are looking for reliable customer service, keep walking. Such a disappointing, frustrating process and I cannot recommend King Living to anyone. APPALLING. Maxine, the design consultant at King Living Chatswood store, was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. She guided us in making the right decision when purchasing our King Living Leather Lounge (True Touch – Malamu) today. We have previously purchased another King Living leather lounge from the Chatswood store, which made us confident in returning. Maxine went above and beyond in delivering outstanding customer service. She spent over an hour patiently explaining the options and showcasing the best products in the store. Her expertise and attention to detail really helped us make the important decision to upgrade to the different model leather lounge. King Living leather lounges are a significant investment, but their quality and durability easily justify the price they are built to last well over 10 years. After a long, stressful search, dealing with multiple lounge businesses, it was an absolute pleasure to walk into King Living in Chatswood. I was greeted by Maxine and within minutes I was able to discuss my needs with her, find a solution to sizing, configuration, materials and colour. All pricing / delivery fees were transparent and I was given an easy to follow print out of all the information and measurements so I could make an informed decision. Within minutes of leaving the store, Maxine emailed all the details to me as an added convenience. We purchased a beautiful lounge in the colour, material and timber we wanted and configured to fit our room perfectly (photos are of the display lounge). Thank you to King Living Chatswood for the beautiful product but also especially to Maxine who really made an exhausting process so much easier with her friendliness, product knowledge and complete professionalism. I highly recommend.
