Dr Tan has cared for both of my parents for many years, including performing cataract surgery, and we could not be happier with the outcomes. My father is a particularly complex patient, with dementia and a history of stroke resulting in third and fourth nerve palsy. His assessments often require extra time, repeated testing, and a great deal of patience. Throughout every visit, Dr Tan and his team have been exceptionally compassionate, understanding, and accommodating. They never rush appointments and always take the time needed to ensure everything is done properly. Dr Tan is an incredibly capable and thorough specialist. His attention to detail, especially during the pre-op to post-operative period, gave us great confidence that every aspect of my fatherβs care was being closely monitored. The final outcome exceeded our expectations and has made a significant difference to my fatherβs quality of life. What stands out most is that Dr Tan combines outstanding clinical expertise with genuine kindness and compassion. He is highly skilled, meticulous, patient-centred, and particularly adept at managing complex cases. We are deeply grateful to Dr Tan and his wonderful team and wou

Christine is a very accommodating and friendly receptionist and always has a smile for everyone. When I commented how lovely it was to have fresh flowers in the ladies rest room she told me that she was responsible for them and brings them from home. Her warm welcome and fresh flowers is a huge asset to Marsden Eye Specialists.

Christine was absolutely wonderful in looking after my mother who was nervous about her appointment but soon relaxed after speaking with Christine. Mary had a lovely personable manner in explaining procedures and follow up instructions. Dr. Samuel Dance was also a very intelligent and thorough specialist throughout her cataract removal and recovery. I would highly recommend the Marsden eye specialist clinic if youβre looking to have a reassuring and supportive experience throughout your eye treatments.

Underwent cataract Surgery on my left eye on 25/3/26 at Parramatta. The Office staff downstairs and the reception upstairs were excellent. The Nurses and Dr WU my Anaesthetist made me comfortable and the procedure seamless. Dr Koh who performed the surgery kept me informed, relaxed and I felt confident during the process. After surgery a nice sandwich and coffee. I now feel confident and relaxed for my other eye surgery in 4 weeks.
