This is a scam. Do not sign up or give your credit card details. After signing up for a discounted box of wine via. A voucher I got from another retailer I was automatically signed up to a subscription. I cancelled this at the time however despite doing so I have had $40 taken out of my account for the past 6 months by naked wines without my consent or knowledge. I was told they could not reverse the payments and I had to spend it on their over priced wine. Would suggest staying away from this business or signing up to any discounts they offer.

For a long time, I had a very positive experience with this company. I really liked their website layout and always found their customer experience to be great. However, things have unfortunately gone downhill lately. It started when I received an unexpected automated shipment of wine, and I was told I had opted into a regular delivery slot. After digging deeper into my past emails and account history, I discovered that the system had silently signed me up for multiple recurring subscriptions—specifically for both the Ashley Horner and Engine Room Motif labels—without my clear awareness. Because of these unexpected automated orders, I decided to cancel my membership completely. Customer service confirmed that my account was closed and that my remaining balance would be fully refunded. Unfortunately, when the credits finally appeared in my bank account, the refund was incomplete. I am now stuck chasing them down to recover the rest of my missing funds, which is incredibly disappointing given how much I used to enjoy the service.

I have been with Naked Wines since 2021 and while I have loved trying different wines and the convenience of having it delivered to my doorstep, my biggest appreciation for this business are the people running things behind closed doors. Over the years, I have had people talk me through my specific taste and put together a custom wine order and, most recently, I have had some of the kindest words from Angie who helped me finalise my account after going through my partners cancer diagnosis. Naked Wines' customer service is next level, I cannot applaud them enough.

Such a scam. I cancelled my subscription a long time ago, only to later realise I was still being charged $40 every month for something called “Angel Perks.” Instead of properly cancelling the subscription, they seem to hide this option somewhere in the unsubscribe process and continued taking money from my account without my knowledge. By the time I noticed last week, I had already been charged over $140. I then felt forced to spend even more money just to meet their minimum spend requirement so I could at least recover the value in bottles of wine I never intended to buy in the first place. To make matters worse, after carefully selecting my order, they sent me 3 bottles I did not choose without any notification first. This kind of practice feels extremely misleading and should be illegal.

Good quality wines from small independent wineries. Set cases or choose your own wines, and good value. I was fully aware of the angel subscription setup from the start (I think a lot of people are not reading what they are signing up for) and have been able to stop and start the subscription any time I want. You can rate and review the wines which helps when choosing what to order next time. They sent me one incorrect bottle on my most recent order. When I emailed them they fully refunded the bottle I didn't get and I got to keep the incorrect bottle. Excellent customer service.
