About North Indian Cuisine

Contemporary Indian find for spicy vegetarian dishes, tandoori meats & fixed-price lunch specials.

Located at Lower Ground Food Court, Central St, Sydney NSW 2000, North Indian Cuisine operates as an indian restaurant serving Sydney in New South Wales. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Card and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere; some venues add a surcharge on weekends and public holidays.

The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.

Its Google rating stands at 3.1 out of 5 from 387 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Getting around Sydney is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy centres, and most suburban shops have their own car park. Public transport and ride-share apps such as Uber and DiDi operate across New South Wales's larger cities.

Absolutely disgusting experience. I found a sharp metal shard in my food β€” not some harmless bit of foil, but a solid, pointy piece of steel that could have seriously injured someone if swallowed. This is beyond careless and completely unacceptable. One second away from a hospital visit because this restaurant clearly has zero concern for hygiene, safety, or quality control. I’m honestly furious thinking about what could have happened. Never ordering from this place again. If they can’t even ensure their food is free from dangerous metal pieces, they shouldn’t be serving food at all. Avoid this restaurant unless you want to gamble with your health.

Ordered 2 biryanis at around 1pm today, it was the most expensive item in their menu, was really excited to try that but it was less delicious than normal biryani and also found 2 pieces of broken glass in biryani. Really disappointing, very careless staffs and it could have been really big health issue if we don’t find that glass piece. It was the first time there to buy some foods and it will be the last one as well. Never recommend anyone

If you really crave for True Punjabi and Amazing taste fro North India then your search ends here. I was just passing by and heard an Uncle Ji directing his staff in Punjabi and I turned and decided to have a bucket full checkin and naan and rice; AND Maththa (sweet lassi). So humbly they responded to my queries in Punjabi and guided what was the best; we ordered Methi Chicken and Chicken Masala. Will be back everytime from my workplace that’s at walking distance, especially for Maththa.

I love their naan and Butter Chicken! Have gone here two days in a row now hahah. Only criticism is that there were an disproportionate amount of rice in comparison to butter chicken. They also ask if you’d like a small, medium or large size. If you’re eating alone I recommend the medium size, but if you’re sharing you should go for the large size.
