- Excellent location, close to the main tourist attractions, all within less than a 20-minute walk. - Excellent breakfast. Wide variety and great quality food. - Great customer service. I arrived before check-in time, but since a room was available, they let me check in early. - Spacious room and a comfortable bed. - Good soundproofing on the windows. - Good air conditioning and heating system. - Includes an iron and ironing board in the room, which is excellent after traveling with wrinkled clothes so you can press them whenever you need. - The hallways need a bit of maintenance, and the room carpet is quite worn out. - The building's exterior windows need cleaning. - You cannot stop by car or taxi directly in front of the hotel because there is no entrance driveway, and stopping on the street is prohibited.

I enjoyed the room, was good size, bed was comfortable and air conditioning was perfect, the only downsides were other guests were a bit loud so you could hear them, when checking out lobby was unstaffed but that was okay as I didnt need them but again other guests had left fast food rubbish on front desks and tables. traffic from street was loud but thats just normal being central in the city. Location was good! short walk away from train, tram and ferries. perfect location but if you want it to be as quiet as hearing a pin drop than not the place, I didnt mind.

Nothing short of excellent all round. Room service quick, with hot food. In house restaurant and bar fantastic, especially the buffet breakfast. Rooms very clean, bathroom had everything needed, as did the room. Bed super comfy, luxurious sheets. So quiet in my room, slept like a log. Staff reeeeeeeallly nice and happy. Sydney CBD. One block over from Gearge Street. No car noise. Felt safe walking around. Lots of city workers moving around during the week, to and from work. Check in and self check out so easy and quick. Walked to The Rocks and Sydney harbour and it took 5 minutes!

We stayed overnight at the Novotel City Centre and it was very nice. We arrived and the greeting was friendly and efficient. It was an easy walk to a number of sites (Circular Quay and the Rocks). We enjoyed an afternoon drink in Birdies Bar with some very tasty bar snacks. The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of seating room. We also enjoyed a good selection at breakfast, although the pancakes were not the best. Overall a very pleasant stay.
