I visited the store today claiming the lady who placed my order ordered me a different style/ eyeglass. I dont remember ordering a blue eyeglass with big frame. She is helpful to help me adjust it but I am not very happy about it. I am not paying $219 for a new pair when I paid almost same amount for two pairs. There's no return policy she said but didnt even bother about what im saying that this is not the frame I wanted. Or she could have at least investigate about it to see if what im saying about the frame is true that I got a different one from my original pick. I dont know check cctv maybe to see if I got the right one. Very disappointing and annoying.

I’m just sharing my experience with Oscar Wylee. I order 2 spectacles for me and my son, i received my sons one within 3 days since ordering. But now I am still waiting for my spectacles. Upon being promised it will come the next day, promised did not happen. So when i called the following day. They said they will call me the next day. Following next day no call so i gave them the whole day to call back but nothing. So i’ve made 3 more calls with a promise they are checking in with head office. My last call the worker wasn’t able to help because her manager is sorting it out. I offered to be transparent if they missed ordering mine so therefore i can make another arrangement or a refund but they still push to say they will call me back. So now I am just tired of calling and calling just waiting for something to happen or even a resolution to this or just someone to be transparent. I just want my specs or a refund not a call back. 03/08/26 Now ive been trying to get intouch with oscar wylee and apparently my order has vanished and they cannot find my order which is making refund harder to process. Like it was so easy for them to take me money but now its hard get them to return it

The 3 ladies at OWO in Blacktown are all very professional, friendly & so helpful. I would definitely recommend them to my family & friends. My first time with OW & they have a great selection of glasses / frames to choose from. Thank you Ladies!

I have been a loyal customer of Oscar Wylee for the past three years, which is why this experience has been especially disappointing. I recently left my glasses in store to have my lenses transferred into new frames, as I was told this would be covered by my insurance. I was advised verbally and asked to leave my glasses with them so the process could begin. It has now been a month, and I have not received any updates regarding the status of my glasses. I understand that delays can happen, but the lack of communication has been frustrating — especially as someone who has continued to support this brand for years. I have always had positive experiences before, I hope the store can improve communication and follow-up processes, as loyal customers value transparency and reliability.

The optometrist was excellent and provided a thorough, reassuring consultation. However, the experience fell short when I collected my glasses. The handover felt rushed, and after just one day, the prescription was unusable—I had to hold my phone at arm’s length and couldn’t read a computer screen at all. At the follow-up, I was advised to switch to multifocals, but I was surprised to be quoted nearly two-thirds of the original price to redo the lenses, even with some options removed. A $90 discount was offered, but it still felt unreasonable to pay almost the full amount again. I left disappointed, and the glasses ultimately will be unused, becoming a complete waste of money. In contrast, my previous experiences with Specsavers were far more supportive and cost-effective, even when multiple remakes were needed.
