As soon as I saw the name, I knew Pappy’s Bar was going to be my kind of place — and it didn’t disappoint. It’s small, cozy, and absolutely packed with personality. The food menu is classic American comfort: burgers, dogs, wings, onion rings, mozzarella sticks… all the good stuff. The team were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Do yourself a favour and try a schooner of Pappy’s Lager. And the American burger? Unreal. It tasted like pure freedom. Pappy’s Bar is a hidden gem — go before everyone else discovers it.

Pappy’s Bar is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic American-style burgers and great local beer. The burgers are incredibly succulent, packed with flavour, and cooked to perfection. Every bite tastes like a proper American burger should, juicy, satisfying, and made with quality ingredients. The local beer selection is also fantastic and pairs perfectly with the food. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and the kind of place you can easily spend a few hours with friends. It’s easy to see why Pappy’s Bar is so highly rated. Great food, great drinks, and consistently excellent service make it a place we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended for burger lovers.

A good place for a stop on a journey into town. The venue has three levels but we didnt see upstairs. The menu is not like other places in Sydney with hotdogs being a feature. I am not sure what the house gin is but it was lovely. They have good margarita specials. Onion rings were on point.

Pappy’s Bar is a hole in the wall type of bar with 3 levels including some outdoor tables in the back alley, thus plenty of options based on your preference. Food is good but nothing exceptional. Their House Lager is pretty crap and expensive for a house beer. Would be a good option as a casual date night

Excellent food, really enjoyed the barramundi tacos and the onion rings. The decor is really nice. They even had scent candles burning in the venue, though I think they could have used a nicer scent. Just be aware the bathroom is a bit small and could be a bit more clean.
