We had the best stay as a family with 2 young kids. Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, with thoughtful touches to help us celebrate our anniversary. The room was pristine and cosy, a great size and well laid-out, with a beautiful marble bathroom. Buffet breakfast was soo good! We loved it so much. Thank you!

Overall, a good three night stay at the Paradox, with caveats. Great location, on the doorstep of so many things within walking distance. There’s some pretty major construction work going on in front of the building; we were fortunate not to have a room overlooking it. The room was comfortable, bathroom was great, and wi-fi fast/stable. We didn’t have breakfast, but dinner in the soon-to-close Bentleys Restaurant was excellent. Not so good: There was a dirty room service tray outside the door of a room facing ours when we checked in at 4pm. It was still there at 10am next morning. The water in the pool was cold. The hot tub was warm but not hot. Every time we used the facilities (daily), the floor was soaking wet throughout, with discarded towels everywhere. Does anyone actually check these things? Not what you’d expect from a 5* hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paradox Sydney. The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived until we checked out. Everyone, from the reception team to the breakfast staff, was genuinely welcoming, friendly and especially kind to our children. Service was always quick, and the elevators were fast, which made getting around the hotel very convenient. The only downside was the room we were assigned. It was located directly opposite the exit of the spa, which is open 24 hours. We were told that this room had been chosen because it was “away from the noise,” but unfortunately that wasn’t our experience. We were too exhausted after travelling to request a room change, so we stayed. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay. The excellent service and warm hospitality really stood out, and we would happily stay here again.
